Fernleigh Awabakal Shared Track (FAST) Environmental Warranty Maintenance

The Fernleigh Awabakal Shared Track (FAST) was designed to extend the existing Fernleigh Track into a 27km active transport route, linking Murrays Beach to Adamstown in the Lake Macquarie region, NSW.

Glascott Landscape and Civil recently completed the final stage of this project for Lake Macquarie City Council, and the entire track was officially opened last weekend.

Marsupial Landscape Management is proud to support Glascott in the post-construction phase by providing a 12-month warranty maintenance programme that will ensure the ongoing vitality of this new community asset. Our responsibilities include establishing and nurturing the newly landscaped and turf areas, as well as implementing a comprehensive Vegetation Management Plan (VMP). This plan involves extensive weed control, new planting efforts, and careful monitoring and reporting on the ecological factors in the area.

Marsupial’s involvement in this project underscores our commitment to maintaining high-quality public spaces that enhance community well-being while supporting ecological sustainability.

We look forward to safeguarding the environment and ensuring that the Fernleigh Awabakal Shared Track remains a vibrant and welcoming space for both the local community and visitors.
