Group Director

As Director of the The Glascott Group, Matt’s businesses have been responsible for building and maintaining large scale public and commercial open spaces along the east coast of Australia for over three decades. Matt sits on the Board at the Royal Botanic Gardens and is Director of Foundation & Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens. He is a highly regarded industry expert who is passionate about the environment and dedicated to his vision; creating quality urban spaces that leave a lasting legacy.

Ben Ledwidge

Group Chief Operating Officer

Ben has held various roles at The Glascott Group over the past 14 years, including Group Commercial Manager and Group Finance Manager. Bringing this experience, he oversees our business operations, optimising processes and implementing effective systems to enhance efficiencies and profitability. Ben leads our teams to deliver exceptional results, ensuring we remain a proactive partner that continues to provide value to stakeholders.

Kylie Backer

Group Commercial Manager

Kylie’s role is crucial in the responsible operation of our businesses. She manages the commercial aspect of our work, ensuring our legal and financial obligations are met. Kylie reviews the policies and negotiates contractual agreements that protect our business, clients and partners so we can continue to operate an ethical and sustainable business.

Gina Hill

Group Marketing Manager

Gina brings decades of experience working across a broad range of market sectors to The Glascott Group. She works closely with the executive and sales team and regional managers to plan and implement state and national marketing strategies that inform and engage while building long-term partnerships with stakeholders.

Gavin Meharg

General Manager & Acting QLD Manager

Gavin is a leader in landscape management, with in-depth knowledge and experience in large-scale contracts for government & commercial clients. Working across our national business, Gavin leads our teams to provide consistently high quality services, working closely with our managers and clients to drive contract value and sustained outcomes.

Mark Carroll

National Compliance Manager

Mark manages our national Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems and processes, ensuring we operate a responsible landscaping business. With a passion for people and the environment, Mark uses his extensive experience to manage our compliance and train our teams in the latest processes and procedures to ensure we deliver safe and sustainable landscapes for clients’ and their communities.

Alister Dunlop

NSW MANAGER

With 16 years at Marsupial, starting as an Apprentice, Alister runs our NSW Division, leading our teams across Sydney and Newcastle to deliver quality landscape services. Alister’s experience in major contracts for councils and commercial clients, combined with his personal and friendly approach, make him the ideal partner for our clients to lead our teams to deliver on the vision for their sites. 

Shane Herring

ACT Manager & NSW Warranty Maintenance

Shane has been at the forefront of horticulture and grounds maintenance for over 25 years, working with clients and our teams to plan, scope and deliver programs to enhance the open space. Shane manages our ACT Operations and Warranty Maintenance Division, ensuring landscapes are established effectively and maintained for optimum performance and long-term value.

David Collard

VIC Manager

David brings over three decades of experience to every contract he manages in greater Melbourne. He values accountability and transparency, working closely with clients, staff and subcontractor partners to foster long-term relationships. David is dedicated to high-quality, reliable landscape management that achieves optimum outcomes for his clients and their communities.

James Macnamara

Ecologist

With a PhD in Environmental Biotechnology and a background in Environmental Management & Science, James spearheads Marsupial’s ecological services, assessing and managing habitat restoration, wetlands, endangered species conservation, and environmental impact. He implements solutions tailored to each site’s unique ecological requirements to achieve environmental sustainability and biodiversity conservation.
