Major Tree Service at Gold Coast Park

Marsupial’s arboriculture division recently undertook significant works at Brady Park in Coombabah, as part of our ongoing arboriculture contract for Gold Coast City Council.

Our primary task involved deadwooding and habitat pruning of 70 trees. Deadwooding is a vital arboriculture practice, where dead or decaying branches are carefully removed to reduce the risk of falling limbs that could pose a danger to park users. In addition, habitat pruning helps to preserve important wildlife habitats, ensuring that the natural ecosystem is minimally impacted by our work.

Our team will also be conducting further assessments on other trees within the park, ensuring ongoing management aligns with the recommendations made by the Council’s consultant.

While the works were not urgent, they are essential for the long-term wellbeing of the park and the community, ensuring public safety and maintaining the natural beauty of Brady Park.
