Marsupial wins two Council arboriculture contracts

Marsupial Arboriculture Services have been awarded two new contracts to deliver tree services in Southeast Queensland. Joining long term clients, our arboriculture division is now providing services to Toowoomba Regional Council and Gold Coast City Council.

The Toowoomba region is renowned for its natural environment and substantial tree coverage, which Council and the community are committed to protecting. The works with Toowoomba Regional Council sees our specialist team undertaking services along local streets, arterial roads and motorways over a 3-year period, ensuring the sustainability of the treescape and the many benefits that come with retaining healthy mature trees.

More recently, we were delighted to start working with Gold Coast City Council on a 3-year contract undertaking tree planting and maintenance works throughout the Gold Coast municipality area. The contract includes installation of porous products, only available by design, delivered by our Environmental Services division.

Our Arboriculture services includes planting trees, completing plant health care, decompaction of soils, remedial tree works, removal of dangerous or dead trees, and maintaining tree canopies. As the ‘eyes-on-site’, our Service Reports provide clients with detail of works performed at each visit, an analysis of current tree health, and the safety aspects of the surrounding area. We provide recommendations to protect the existing tree and enhancements such as new planting areas and species suitable for the local ecology.

Tree management is vital in providing cooling and climate control in urban areas, improving air quality, increasing biodiversity, reducing noise and pollutants, and improving the aesthetics and value to streets and open space.

Aligned with The Australian Government’s Emissions Reduction Target, urban trees play an important part in managing the environmental impact while improving our physical and mental wellbeing.

Marsupial Arboriculture Services brings specialist expertise in tree management, from beneath the ground to the tree canopy. For further information, contact our Arboriculture Division.
