National Safe Work Month – Our Commitment to a Safe Workplace

At Marsupial Landscape Management, safety isn’t just a priority – it’s part of our culture. This October, as we celebrate National Safe Work Month, we’re reinforcing our commitment to ensuring every team member returns home safely at the end of each day.

Safety is a shared responsibility, and at Marsupial, we believe that by working together, we can maintain the highest safety standards across our worksites. From regular training and toolbox talks to daily checks on our equipment and machinery, we take a proactive approach to keeping our staff safe.

Throughout this month, we’ll be focusing on key safety topics that are essential to our daily operations:

• MLM Daily Pre-Start: The importance of completing the pre-start checklist correctly every day to identify potential hazards and ensure readiness.
MLM Plant and Equipment Checklist: How thorough inspections of our tools and machinery can reduce risk and prevent accidents.
• WHS Consultation with Staff: Encouraging open communication about workplace health and safety issues to ensure that everyone’s voice is heard and safety improvements are made.
• Reading and Signing SWMS/SWI: Why it’s critical to read, understand, and sign our Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Safe Work Instructions (SWI) before starting a task to ensure everyone is aligned on the safest way to complete the work.

National Safe Work Month is a timely reminder that safety must be an ongoing effort. By reinforcing these practices, we’re making sure that safety is embedded in everything we do, ensuring a safer environment for our workers, clients, and the communities we serve.
