St Patrick’s Cathedral Grounds Maintenance Contract

Work Details

Scope

Marsupial provides Horticulture & Grounds Maintenance services at the high profile St Patrick’s Cathedral, in Melbourne’s CBD. Our work entails the management of the horticultural assets including the extensive established rose garden, historic  garden beds dating back to 1939 when the cathedral officially opened,  significant hedges & open spaces areas, with a focus on asset protection, public safety and landscape enhancement.

Our low footprint service model ensures we work safely to protect staff, public, and the surrounding environment. We work closely with St Patrick’s Cathedral and BGIS to detect deterioration and suboptimal performance early, with recommendations to address & improve the landscape assets throughout the term of the contract, and beyond.

Marsupial’s custodianship service is pivotal to the promotion of the gardens of St Patrick’s Cathedral that play a vital role in the grounds remaining a landmark in the fabric of the Melbourne CBD.
