Marsupial’s experience in large-scale infrastructure was showcased on Australia’s largest public infrastructure project, with plants and trees established for long term success and services delivered safely to schedule for over a 2-year warranty maintenance period.
Working closely with our sister business & project contractor, Glascott Landscape & Civil, Marsupial Landscape Management maintained newly constructed landscapes along 7 kilometres of rail corridor; managing over 1 million plants that cover an area equivalent to 34 full sized football fields.
Significant challenges were faced due the size and scale and logistics required to deliver the works, and establishment maintenance being delivered through one of Sydney’s driest summers, with temporary irrigation and full-time watering implemented to mitigate stock loss. Our highly trained horticulturists managed pest and disease control commonly found in the native species specified for the site to ensure beautiful long-term aesthetics. We are proud to have been part of the group to deliver the first Sydney Metro corridor on time and under budget for NSW Government.
