Western Sydney Airport (WSA) International Experience Centre

Marsupial Landscape Management are undertaking landscape maintenance services at Western Sydney Airport (WSA) International Experience Centre.

The new contract with Evolve FM follows establishment services delivered for our sister business Glascott Landscape and Civil post construction of the International Experience Centre.

Marsupial shares Evolve FMs focus on quality delivery and high levels of customer service underpinned by a commitment to indigenous participation while increasing opportunities for employment and career development across all the regions where we work in Australia.

We pride ourselves on the skill & dedication of our people and their passion for all aspects of grounds & horticulture management. As a company, we work hard to provide opportunities for all Australians, with a particular focus on Indigenous & gender diversity.

Our broader Western Sydney Teams currently comprise 60% Indigenous and 40% females. Under the direction of Marsupial’s Regional Manager, they are developing their horticultural and customer service skills in a supportive, inclusive and positive environment, whilst making their own contribution to the rich diversity of our organisation and industry.

Reflecting our corporate objective, we work with partners like Evolve FM and WSA to ‘change the face of landscaping’ in Australia, by addressing barriers to entry and offering clear pathways for skills and career advancement. We take great pleasure from the contribution we have made to date in the development of the greater Western Sydney Airport precinct, and we look forward to deepening our relationship with WSA over time as the precinct moves through its construction phase and into the management of the open space and landscape environments that have been created.

We also look forward to the opportunity to expand our relationship with Evolve FM and deliver equity through opportunity to other sites and clients under management, moving to a position where genuine diversity and equal opportunity is “business as usual”.

Our Work:

With over 70 heritage sites at WSA considered culturally significant by Aboriginal stakeholders, when carrying out our work we understand the importance of culture to local history and ensuring adequate protection of these sites and special places.

Our fortnightly servicing ensured the new landscape were established correctly, the site was safe for staff and visitors, and the aesthetic appeal is consistent with the design intent for this critical national infrastructure asset.

Our 5 Lenses Approach to service delivery focuses on the whole-of-landscape; Aesthetics, Sustainability, OH&S, Pest & Disease Management, and Asset Protection. Through our proactive approach to identify and report asset deterioration and sub-optimal landscape performance, Marsupial assists both Evolve FM, and WSA to make informed and timely decisions.
